Update

I know, I know. I’ve been missing again. But it’s for good reason – I’ve been doing a lot of healing, moving on, moving into a new place – many changes. But all positive ones! Gosh, it makes me so sad to read that last post. But with each trip I take, each dinner party I attend, or wedding shower I host, I move on more and more and realize I’m doing just fine. The nights are tough of course – I never say no to an invitation it seems so that I keep busy and distracted. But I’ve had the opportunity to travel and experience so many things I never would have done before! But I also have the under eye circles to show for it! Nothing a little Clinique All about Eyes can’t fix of course.

I was dating a guy there for a bit – lived in New York so I was travelling up there to visit him. Which was so much fun…….but we just weren’t on the same page……and I really don’t think that I was as into him as he was for me from the get go. I was always very honest about where I was in my life – unavoidable baggage based on my very recent past relationship. I just wanted to have fun, enjoy life and not get too serious. He is a wonderful guy with a lot to offer (and a great place to stay in NYC, he he), just not the right guy for me. Guess I should mention his friend that I developed a bit of a secret crush on.....stay tuned, but I may have to wait this one out.
I’ve since moved in with my little sister, and we are having a blast – girls’ dinners, the Bachelor viewing parties and more. Can’t wait to see where life is going to take me next.
